Integration competency

It is a shared services function within a government entity which for performing methodical

Data Integration - allows government agencies to access their enterprise data and functions, fragmented across disparate systems, in order to create a combined, accurate, and consistent view of their core information as well as process assets and leverage them across the enterprise to drive business decisions and operations

System Integration - is the bringing together of component subsystems into one system and ensuring that they function together effectively

Enterprise Application Integration - enables efficient information exchanges and business process automation across separate computer applications in a cohesive fashion

The governments currently are facing challenges to able to get their IT networks to function efficiently to perform the functions as defined.

ARK Solutions, Inc has an experienced team who are capable to support and implement the three-integration process. The team has hands on industry experience and key project leaders with years of experience with government systems. ARK solutions, Inc is able to provide a resource effective and a value added solution to integration over the enterprise solution.

  Enterprise Application      Integration

Data Integration:

It involves combining data residing in different sources and providing users with a unified view of these data. This process becomes significant in a variety of situations, which include both when two similar agencies need to merge their databases and scientific (combining research results from different bioinformatics repositories, for example) domains. Data integration appears with increasing frequency as the volume and the need to share existing data explodes. Issues with combining heterogeneous data sources under a single query interface have existed for some time. This merging can take place at several levels in the database architecture. One popular solution based on data warehousing is the warehouse system extracts, transforms, and loads data from multiple sources into a single common queriable schema so data becomes compatible with each other. This approach offers a tightly coupled architecture because the data is already physically reconciled in a single repository at query-time, so it usually takes little time to resolve queries. However, problems arise with the new data, which means information in warehouse is not always up-to-date. Therefore, when an original data source updates, the warehouse retains outdated data and the ETL process needs re-execution for synchronization. The governments challenge increases with databases being different technologies and in different geographical locations. In addition, there are multiple databases within one agency.

ARK Solutions, Inc. has a clear understanding of the issues at hand. We have a team of experienced professional who are able to provide a solution to link multiple databases. We take our experiences of handling large enterprise from the commercial sector. We are able to custom develop application and use COTS middleware to integrate databases. ARK Solutions, Inc. team versatility has allowed us to create solutions, which are simple yet unique to implement. We are able to place a team with minimum drain on resources and are able to provide a value added solution.

System Integration:

In information technology, systems integration is the process of linking together different computing systems and software applications physically or functionally, to act as a coordinated whole. The system integrator brings together discrete systems utilizing a variety of techniques such as computer networking, enterprise application integration, business process management or manual programming. System integration involves integrating existing often-disparate subsystems. System integration is also about adding value to the system, capabilities that are possible because of interactions between subsystems.

In today’s world, the role of system integration is becoming more and more important: more and more systems are designed to connect, both within the system under construction and to systems that are already deployed. The government’s is facing the challenge of reducing the numbers of individual systems, at the same time not lose any of its mission capabilities. Consolidation and integration of sub systems is one of the key element in government’s system integration plan. Also integrating data from existing systems to a new system in entirety.

ARK Solutions, Inc has a team of ERP professionals, who have hands on experience with systems integrations. We have experienced Data base administrators, BI/DW developers and Project Management leaders to create solutions for smooth integration. Our team can transfer data from a legacy system to the active system, without hampering the reporting process. ARK Solutions, Inc is able to place key resources at a competitive rates to support the system Integration process of the government.

Enterprise Application integration

Enterprise application Integration is an integration framework composed of a collection of technologies and services, which form a middleware to enable integration of systems and applications across the enterprise. Applications like Supply chain management applications, customer relationship management applications, business intelligence applications and other types of applications (for managing data such as human resources data, health care, internal communications, etc.) typically cannot communicate with one another in order to share data or business rules. This situation is exasperated by Disparate systems with disparate technology are present in the government not just in various geographical locations but also within the same location. Each agency of the government in some ways performs as an independent entity. This leads to a need for application development, applications that can allow systems to interact (middleware), applications that can allow custom reporting or custom input of data.

ARK Solutions, Inc. has a highly experienced team who can support Enterprise Application integration needs of a government agency. We analyze and understand the challenges before creating an application. We do not treat the application as a tool but rather as a system, hence we create a project plan to ensure that the development and implementation is at that standard. ARK Solutions, Inc team ensures that the application remains modular, this allows for future changes without a redesign process. We are able to provide these solutions, as our team is highly experienced in the technical and other business issues. We have dynamic project managers to lead this implementation process. Who have in the past worked with stakeholders to reach a consensus for the application (Development & Implementation) to deliver as-envisioned product.
